As she gasped for breath, she sent a text message to her husband Chris and two children saying she loved them before she was placed on a ventilator in intensive care. she'd thought she is going to die, but decided to tell her beloved husband and children she love them.
She said: "Last Thursday I woke feeling a little unwell and chesty, nothing new when the weather changes. I started my day as normal - dropped the kids off and went to work unaware of what lay ahead.
"At work I knew something wasn't right, I just sat and stared at my computer, I started getting more and more breathless and wheezy. I left going straight to my GPS for a nebuliser in the hope it would all go away but I didn't respond to this.
"I heard the words ambulance and thought 'oh no not again' (I've already had pneumonia twice this year). The rest of the day is a little hazy.
"I spent hours in resus being pumped of various medications, back to back nebulisers - which again my lungs weren't responding too, so many blood tests and blood gases, my veins were collapsing!
"As the hours passed it became harder and harder to breath, my body was tired. I was then assessed by the intensive care doctor who wanted me up there straight away.

"My blood pressure was normal, my pulse was 132, my sats 99% sounds normal right...how wrong can these be. They managed to get an Aline into my wrist under ultrasound.here is what she text her husband
"At around 10-11 I sent Chris my husband my last text message to say I loved them. I could barely take a breath I was so tired, I couldn't move and barely talk word. I was so scared that i would never see him and my kids again.
"All I then remember is a doctor at my head saying 'Sam we are going to have to put you to sleep and help you breath' I was scared but I was so tired I just listened. I was soon asleep unaware of what was happening.
